RNs provide and coordinate patient care, educate patients, staff, and the public about various health conditions, and provide advice and emotional support to patients and their families.
LPNs are responsible for taking and monitoring vital signs. Assisting with eating, bathing, dressing, and administering medication. LPNs communicate changes in patient behavior or health status to Nurses, physicians, and family members.
CNAs are responsible for helping patients with grooming, bathing, toileting, eating, and moving. CNAs ensure that patients receive the appropriate nutrition which can include shopping for groceries, preparing meals, and possibly assisting with eating.
